Fujitsu Services secures Irish public sector IT contract
The Irish tax and customs authority, the Revenue Commissioners, has awarded a two year contract to Fujitsu for ICT services and support in a deal worth 3m Euros.
Dublin (eNewsPR) 12 December 2007 - Fujitsu Services, a leading European supplier of IT services and consultancy, will provide strategic ICT architecture and maintain quality assurance for the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland.
Fujitsu and Revenue have a working relationship dating back several years in which the IT services firm has helped establish a number of infrastructure needs for the public services department.
Fujitsu Services has a widespread presence in Ireland, with an operation that includes more than 600 staff and a successful history in providing IT solutions and services to several public and private sector businesses and departments.
